Thabo Moloto serves as the Chairman of Rootz 031 PTY LTD – an umbrella corporation that houses several interests within the Local, Continental and Global Mining sector Ecosystem, by way of company ownership, shareholding and consulting.
As a Mining Engineer by trade – with a Government Certificate of Competency for mine managers – Moloto is currently completing his Master of Science in Mining Engineering with the University of the Witwatersrand. In addition to this, he holds a B-Tech Mining Engineering degree from the University of Johannesburg, and has completed an Executive Development programme with Wits Business School. He has also completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) with The Project Management Institute of America.
Moloto has gained extensive experience in all facets of Mining Engineering, from Operations Management, Project Management and, most importantly, the commercial and financial aspects of the contracting business. His current roles have seen the companies he owns, has shareholding in, and consults for, enjoy wide-ranging commercial, growth and diversification successes.
